At Dothan Eye Centre, we strive to provide exceptional eye care to meet all of our patients' needs. Our office provides vision care to all ages, from 6 months to most senior patients. Using the latest technology to assist in delivering your eye care, our goal is always to be informative and administer the best in personal care.
Dothan Eye Centre was established in Nigeria in September 2013 as a high-tech eye clinic capable of providing optometric services comparable to international standards. From inception, we have partnered with institutions in the fight against preventable blindness, delivering quality eye care to the Nigerian populace.
We have reached individuals, schools, churches, communities, companies, banks, and transport organisations with preventable eye training programs, educating people on the best ways to care for their eyes and avoid preventable eye defects and diseases. We consistently invest in current technology and staff development to maintain international standards for accurate diagnosis and efficient eye care delivery.

Glad Okpara.
Dr Nene Glad Okpara completed her undergraduate and Optometric degree at Abia State University, Uturu. She did her externship at Living Word Hospital, Aba, and her internship and Youth Service at General Hospital, Lagos. She has since worked with top private eye clinics and participated in several community eye care missions, performing eye examinations and providing drugs and glasses to the underprivileged.
Dr Okpara is experienced and an expert in performing comprehensive eye examinations using advanced computerised instruments to determine accurate eyeglass prescriptions. Through her intensive optometric training, she manages ocular disorders such as strabismus, amblyopia, refraction issues, and ocular disease — updating herself yearly through internationally recognised conferences. She is passionate about her career and enjoys helping people optimise their vision with glasses and contact lenses.
